ABOUT ME

I am a Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Registered Acupuncturist and Registered Massage Therapist. My healthcare career began with Massage Therapy in 2004. I chose massage as a career after it provided me relief from chronic neck and back pain. I knew I needed to share this with others. In 2007, I moved to Calgary and have since practiced in a few inner city northwest communities. Throughout my massage career, I regularly sought treatment in order to maintain my own health and to keep occupational injuries at bay. Besides receiving regular massage treatments, I would also enjoy cupping and acupuncture treatments. This combination helped significantly with the muscle aches and tension that are part of a physical job.

In 2015, I enrolled at the Canadian Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine (CITCM) where I completed the 4 year double major diploma program. I am thrilled to be able to offer acupuncture and other traditional eastern modalities in my treatments now. I enjoy getting to the root of an issue and resolving a variety of symptoms. My treatment approach is nurturing and whenever possible I use soothing techniques in my treatments. During my last year at CITCM, I had the opportunity to do part of my internship in China. I spent time in a hospital in MianYang located in the beautiful Sichuan province. My time in China had a profound impact on me and has left me with memories that will last forever.
